I decided to give my blog a little proxy look so it looks similar with the adsense code in this post (hope you’ll click it ) Proxy sites became famous because they are so easy to set up and make money.
To host a proxy you’ll only need a domain name and webhosting. If you’d like to make more money you’ll need more proxy sites and create a proxy network.

To get started you need:
- a Good Server
- Good Domain
- Promotion and Traffic
- Adsense Account and Ad Placement

1. a Good Server: If your proxy gets down for some time then the user will just walk away and use one of the 40 million others available on the net. Also if you are having a proxy network you’ll probably need a dedicated server that will cost you around 140$. Proxies suck bandtwidth so watch out when buying the host. Also check if your host allows proxies before even buying one.

2. a Good Domain: A good domain is a domain that won’t include the word proxy in it. Your site can get bocked for many reasons if using that kind of work in your domain. try the “unblock myspace” or hideme… Those are good domains. Also the most of proxy sites and the best domain for using a proxy site is .info You can get that kind of domains on godaddy.com for 0.99$ yearly. when you bought the domain you’ll need a script. You can use zelune, phproxy, cgi-proxy or any other that you like. They are all free.

3. Promotion and traffic: This is probably the hardest part but if you follow my steps it won’t be so hard anymore You can get the traffic by:

1. posting your proxy url in yahoo & google group
2. submit your proxy url to proxy.org
3. posting Bulletin and comment to myspace
4. submit to social bookmarking sites
5. submit to proxy toplists
6. Do SEO

You need to post your site few times daily because there are users from all over the world and there are different time zones:

Also submit your url to proxy.org as there are may users searching for proxy sites every day.

You can promote your site using myspace. Do a google search and you’ll find thousands of ways to promote it.

There are few lists of top proxies on the web where you can add your site into. Also more prople think that they’ll get traffic from the top-list sites. I’d say that you can get 10 times more traffic from search engines that the top lists though.

4. Making The Cash: To make money with proxy sites you are going to need a google adsense account and paste your adsense publisher id into the codes of the template. Don’t add google adsense on proxified pages because it’s against google TOS and will ban your account. On the proxified pages sell a maximum of 4 links. You can get buyers from the buy, sell or trade link sellection on dp. I suggest adding 3 blocks of adsense. 2 up from the browser and one big clock down. You can look for a high CPM template too as there are many free onces.

I just start a arcade site or any kind, add some adsense, do promoting, have fun playing and start an auction on dp and sell the site. It’s just getting funner to make money while I have fun. You should try this and always get another hosting account and give it away with the winning bid.

First of all this is not any kind of a paid review and you all probably know about my connection issues and the new project we are getting ready for with Rishi. When I got back my internet connection I was interested in seeing what did it happen to the blogosphare. One of the best ways to get traffic to your blog is (was) ofcourse entrecard so I went to check out how to site is doing. First thought I remembered about the new priciing system. It totally sucks, as you need to pay almost 2000 credits to advertise on a site that can get you 2 clicks. It’s wasting your hard earned credits for nonthing!!! Now lets take a look at the main page design. They totally changed it and the nice video that attracted me to sign up is gone replaced with a stupid picture Do you know what was the first “buck” I earned online??? It was 30 dollars sent to my paypal account by a member of entrecard that bought 5000 credits from me. Now with those credits you can buy 2 ads on blogs that won’t get any traffic to ya! I don’t like the forums too. Regarding the “old good entrecard forums stumble exchange” where you could of easily get 30 stumbles daily… With the new system the EC credits economy has come to the end. I had a new arcade site and signed it up for entrecard. I remember when I signed up with buckserv - in 10 minutes I got 20 uniques and my queue was full in 5 minutes with over 20 requests. Now with the arcade I got 5 requests in 26 hours and dropped 60 cards and in return I got 5 visitors Conclution: Entrecard turned into a waste of time. Graham, phirate you should really do something and try to bring it back again… It was good- don’t let it die and get forgotten like blogrush!

Guys this is really freaking awesome! I am holding an iphone in my hands now listening to “eminem - When I’m gone”. I managed to make 400$ in few days and bought myself an iphone from apple.
